Sallie Jean Schlosser

Sallie Jean Schlosser (March 19, 1936 – August 7, 2020)

A special angel has gone home to her Father in heaven. Sallie passed at home with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her adoring brother, Paul V. Gotas Jr.; her devoted daughters, Linda L. Flaherty, Christina M. Simon, Donna Jean Schlosser (Bonnie J. Chandler), and Carole Lynn Moore (Robert Dawson); loving grandsons, Michael, Paul, Gregory, Steven, and Eric; plus eight wonderful great-grandchildren. She was a true friend and a special neighbor who was loved by all who knew her, especially her best friend Marge McAnally.

Sallie was a kind soul and a devout Christian who loved her God. She was a deaconess at The Community Church of Oak Orchard in Millsboro, DE until her move to New Jersey in 2016 where she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. 

She loved nature and animals; she treasured the time with her family pets who will miss her daily “treat time”. Sallie was a Phillies fan and a supporter of whatever team her family was rooting for at the time (Eagles!). Always patient and selfless, she was modest in her ways and was happy just to be around the people she loved. 

This world has lost a special person who will be whole-heartedly missed by everyone.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
