On October 23, 2023 Dale Matchett, age 66, of Cherry Hill, NJ, beloved husband of Barbara J. (nee Maginnis), passed away.  He is survived by his devoted son, Sean M. Matchett (Jacquelyn) and his loving daughter, Kelly E. Vacio (John); beloved brother, David Matchett (Debbie); cherished grandfather of Evangeline Matchett; and loved by  several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He is predeceased by his brother Robert Matchett.

Dale served with the Cherry Hill police department, for 32 years, and the Deer Park Fire Department.  He was an avid stock car racer at the Poconos Race Track. He also ran the Stock Car Racing Experience at the Poconos Race Track, conducting classes for safety driving with the clients.  He was known for helping people at their time of need and always being there to assist people.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 10-11:00 AM, from the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM.  The interment will be held at the Colestown Cemetery, 100 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 John F.
