Helen L. Patten

Helen L. Patten, 86 of Westmont, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Daughter of the late Clifford and Helen Patten. Beloved mother of Sharon Press, Barbara Press, Gene Press (Kathleen) and James Press Sr. (Lisa). Cherished MeMom of James Press Jr., Noah Press, Lukas Press and Kassidy Press.
Helen retired in 2000 from Camden County Government after many years of service. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, who gave her much happiness and joy. She loved her dogs, spending time gardening and watching birds. Her yearly family vacations to the North Carolina’s Outer Banks gave her great pleasure especially those Theme Nights. Helen enjoyed the yearly visits to the Philadelphia Flower Show, attending Broadway Musicals and seeing a long list of various entertainers at the Latin Casino during its heyday. Her absolute favorite singer was Frank Sinatra who she had the honor of meeting and named her last pup, Frankie after. Helen could dance to any music and if it happened to be an Elvis tune you could learn a few moves from her.
