Elizabeth Jane Rudolph

Elizabeth Jane Rudolph (née Prichard), age 93, of Pitman, NJ, daughter of Mary and Rufus Prichard of Audubon, NJ, passed away on July 5, 2022.  She was raised in Audubon and moved to Pitman in 1950.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Rudolph, and two sons, Ronald Rufus (two days old) and Ronald Paul.  She was a proud mother of her three children, Robert, Ronald, and Carol James; a loving grandmother of seven; a great grandmother of nine; and a great-great-grandmother of one.

Elizabeth graduated from Audubon High School, received a degree from Glassboro State College, and a master’s degree from Goddard College in Vermont, after which she worked as an art and family therapist.  Elizabeth was a creative and giving person.  She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pitman for 70 years, having spent most of that time serving in the church choir and providing floral arrangements.  She also created welcome and sympathy cards as a gift of service.  She worked in the community as a school volunteer, a Girl Scout leader, an active participant of the Junior Women’s Club, and a volunteer for Samaritan Hospice.  She will be missed dearly.

Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Pitman, 30 North Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071 at 11:00 AM.  Arrangements under the direction of DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  Condolences and memories may be shared at DuboisFuneralHome.
