Bud Spirit

Bud Spirit, age 58, of Gibbstown, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

Born and raised in Lindenwold, NJ, Bud worked for many years as a painter.  He was very skilled at his craft, and his services were always in high demand.  Bud loved fishing and especially taking his kids crabbing every summer in Atlantic City, Fortescue, and Tuckerton, NJ.  He loved music, Nascar, the History Channel, cooking shows, which would inspire him to cook and try new foods, and old westerns, some of which he could even quote verbatim.  Bud will be fondly remembered as a hardworking, loving man whose greatest passion was his family.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bud is the beloved spouse of Barb; Loving father of Robert, Ryan (Connie), Jake, Tyler, and was pre-deceased by his daughter, Angela; Devoted Grandfather of Dylan, Joanna, Mya, Giovanni Marley, and Noah; and Dear sibling of Lorraine (Tom), Donna (Ed), Stella (Bob), Cindy, Alan (Stacy), and Tony.  He was predeceased by his two brothers, Don and Ronnie and his parents, Donald and Shirley Spirit.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bud’s viewing on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ, from 11:00 am to 12 noon.  The funeral service will immediately follow.  Interment will be private.  Funeral arrangements under the direction of DuBois Funeral Home.  Condolences and memories may be shared at DuboisFuneralHome.
