Richard R. King jr

Richard R. King Jr., formerly of Haddon Heights, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024. He was 60 years old.

Richard was a devoted father to his son and daughter; Bobby and Taylor King. He was known for his hands-on approach to life; he took great pride in building and creating, whether it was through woodworking or working on cars. His passion for craftsmanship was a reflection of his creative spirit.

In addition to his work with his hands, Richard had a deep love for music and art, often finding joy in the melodies and colors that surrounded him. He also loved occasional fishing by the lake.
Richard had a special bond with animals, demonstrating kindness and compassion toward all living creatures, especially cats., his favorite cat being a large male feline named Dawgz.  His warm personality and generosity of spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him.


Richard is the beloved Father of Bobby (Gina) and Taylor King, devoted son to Peggy King, treasured brother of Cynthia Sporer (Eric) and Karen Glatz. Longtime friend and co-parent with Terri King. Richard is predeceased by his father, Richard King Sr, (Dick) and his Aunt Elizabeth King. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at the DuBois Funeral Home; 700 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ, 08106 from 6-8:00 P.M., where family and friends are invited to celebrate Richard’s life and share their memories. Interment will take place privately at the request of the family.

Richard’s vibrant spirit and amazing sense of humor will be profoundly missed but forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
