David G. Gibson, Sr.
On August 30th, 2024, David G. Gibson Sr passed away at the age of 88 years. He was the beloved husband of Joanne Gibson (nee Sederstron) . He is survived by his son David Gibson Jr (Janice), Donald P. Gibson (Cathy) and his daughter Debra J. Wright. He was the devoted grandfather of Kristina Thompson, Daniel R. Wright, David Gibson III, Alexandra Gibson, Andrew Gibson, Brian Gibson and Samantha Gibson. Loving great grandfather of Logan Thompson, Harrison Wright and Nora Wright.
Mr. Gibson worked as a Welder/Fitter for several South Jersey metal fabrication companies, retiring from the Joseph Oat Corporation in Camden, NJ. He proudly served his country in the US Naval Construction Battalions (SEABEES) as a reservist. He loved his “Josey” and family, he made and had friends everywhere he went, he loved fishing on the lake and enjoyed watching and rooting for the Phillies. He loved the Lord and served many ministries in the following churches: Calvary Baptist Church, Haddon Heights Baptist Church and Community Bible Church.
Funeral visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, from 10-11:00 a.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ, 08106, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park : Rt. 130, Cinnaminson , New Jersey .
