Sarah E. Chapman
Sarah E. Chapman, aka Sally (née Ransom) of Barrington, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024. She was 88.
Sarah was a strong and independent mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted her faith to the Lord, her love to her family, and all her time to those she loved. Born in Westmont, New Jersey, Sarah and her husband, Robert later settled in Barrington. Sarah was an Avon lady for many years, and later worked for Medic PRN life support services in Pennsauken. Sarah enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking, but most of all; she loved raising her children. She supported all four of them in every way: always helping with homework and making sure all their needs were met. Her smile, affection, and selfless generosity will be missed by all the hearts she’s touched.
Sarah is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert Chapman. She leaves behind to carry on her memory, her sons Bruce (Martha), Ken (Gerri), Charles and her daughter Sara (Richard). Sarah was a grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Beloved daughter to the late Charles and Anna, and her late brother; James Ransom.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday July 29th, 2024, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Community Bible Church:321 Kingston Ave, Barrington, NJ 08007. Her funeral service will follow immediately at 11:30 a.m.
