Kelsey L. Emmerling

Kelsey L. Emmerling of Collingswood, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, July 8th, 2024 with her devoted family by her side. She was 31.

Born to Karen and John Emmerling on November 3rd, 1992 , Kelsey was a gentle soul with a kind heart. After contracting meningitis as an infant, her life contained many challenges which she met head-on with her sassy attitude. She attended school at St. John of God for many years where she made a lasting impression on those she met. Kelsey enjoyed watching and listening to musicals; her favorite tv show was Glee and her favorite films were High School Musical, I, II and III. Kelsey loved spending time with her family, being surrounded by her favorite stuffed toys, and she loved the color pink. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kelsey is survived by her beloved mother, Karen Emmerling.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, extended family and friends. Kelsey is predeceased by her father, John Emmerling. She is survived by her grandfather Henry Emmerling. and predeceased by her other grandparents; Leonard and Mildred Hargrave and Anne Emmerling. Also survived by her special friend, Christine from Plan NJ trust and John, who came to visit twice a month to share his music with her.

Friends and family are invited to attend Kelsey’s visitation on Saturday, August 24th , 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at The Gloucester County Community Church 359 Chapel Heights Road, Sewell, New Jersey, 08080. Kelsey’s funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon following the service. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
