Verna Lorraine Leise
Verna Lorraine Leise (nee Cutler), of Haddon Heights and Collingswood New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18th 2024. She was 91.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother, aka “The Gran”, and friend. Lorraine was a life-long Girl Scout; beginning in her childhood and continuing the tradition with her two daughters, and she was awarded the Green Angel Award for her years of dedication. Lorraine volunteered faithfully for over twenty one years at Cooper Hospital; she also crocheted dozens of baby blankets for new mothers via the Options Pregnancy Center in Cherry Hill. Lorraine was an amazing woman with a huge heart, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Henry J. Leise. Devoted mother of Debbie (Frank) Dera and Barbara Berner .Treasured grandmother to Debbie, Henry (Jennifer), Matthew, Susan (Greg) and Kyle (Katie). Cherished great grandmother to Ian, Arielle, Jack, Kayce, and Annaleise. Lorraine enjoyed her time at Collingswood Manor, and made wonderful friendships with both the staff and residents alike. Lorraine is predeceased by her parents; Eli and Verna Cutler, her stepfather; Joseph Pisa, and her brothers; Eli and Harry Cutler and sister Dorothy Waterhouse.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, June 25th 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home; 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ, 08106. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park; 1300 RT-130N, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
