Raymond A. Huhn

Raymond A. Huhn, 73, a resident of Runnemede and originally from Camden, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 4th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Camden, he graduated from Camden County Vocational School. Ray, a proud Army veteran, served in the 101st Airborne division during the Vietnam War, earning commendations such as the Purple Heart.

Ray embraced various roles throughout his career, showcasing his mechanical prowess, ultimately concluding as a Utility Location Technician. His creative talents extended beyond mechanics, evident in his remarkable military model airplanes, jeeps, rocket-launchers, and World War II M4 Sherman tanks.

In addition to his mechanical pursuits, Ray had a passion for drawing, airbrushing, photography, and found joy in gardening, cultivating tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, and watermelons. A devoted fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles (GO BIRDS!!!!), Ray’s absence will be deeply felt by friends, family, and his cherished parrot, Lulu.


Beloved husband of 46 years to the late Kathleen (nee Gorman); devoted father of  Ian, Jason (Paula), and Laura (Shawn). Devoted Poppop of Sullivan, Elijah, Micah,  Maddison, Aidan, Grayson, Oliver, Travis. Brother to Ellen and Joan.  Ray is predeceased by his parents; Alfred and Marion (nee McMackin) Huhn, and his brother, the late Allan Huhn.  At the request of the family, all services for Raymond will be private.
