William Pierson III
On September 8, 2023, William Pierson went to heaven. He is now living the reality of what he believed about the Lord Jesus Christ and saw Him face to face. We, as a family, know because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we will see him again! And for that, we are so grateful.
“Bill†was originally from Haddon Heights, New Jersey. He was the son of William Pierson Jr. and Elizabeth, formerly of Collingswood, New Jersey.
His greatest joy was serving the Lord in the area of finance for over 43 years. He loved the work he did each and every day. He never understood people complaining about where they worked; he saw it as a gift and challenged his family to do the same.
He was married to his “Princess†Elisabeth Joyce Beikert Pierson for 57 years. His love for his girls, Cherith Pierson-Barr and Heidi Peace, was evidenced over and over by his words and actions. He greatly respected and was so grateful for the support of his sons-in-law, Terry Barr and Todd Peace. His granddaughter, Elisabeth “Kinsley†Peace, brought him incredible joy; he was always on the lookout for presents and experiences to give her! Being with his family both near and far was something he valued and always looked forward to.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 12 noon at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, 232 Richwood Road, Elmer, New Jersey, 08318.
