Margaret Flanagan

On April 5, 2023 Margaret (Peggy) Flanagan, age 76 of Audubon NJ, passed away peacefully in her home. 

Peggy is survived by her two beloved daughters, Margaret Ann Collins Fernandez (Eddie), and Patricia Ann Collins Forsythe (the Late James); brother, Edward Flanagan (Chris); the late sister, Elizabeth Fink; her dear grandchildren, Philip, Timothy, Julia, Austin and Ashley; and nieces, Betty, Margie, Nancy, and nephew, Eddie. 

Peggy was born on February 21, 1947 to the late Edward J. Flanagan & Margaret McMichael Flanagan.  Peggy was raised in southwest Philadelphia where she attended Good Shepherd Grade School, West Catholic Girls High school, and graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a degree in bookkeeping.  Peggy’s fondest memories growing up were of the Upland Street community and attending Bandstand.

Peggy’s hobbies included crocheting and card writing all while raising two daughters and working as a Human resource manager.  Peggy was a member of The Red Hats Society, The Women of the Moose Lodge, The Holy Maternity Alder & Rosary, and The Catholic Daughters of Gloucester NJ.  Peggy loved church and was a very dedicated parishioner and friend to many.  

The visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 between 8:30 AM-10am at the church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish at 901 Hopkins Rd. , Suite A, Haddon Twp., NJ 08033.  The mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM at the Church.  The Entombment will follow directly after church mass at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.  Funeral arrangements under the direction of DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  Condolences and memories may be shared at DuboisFuneralHome
