Linda Patricia Ashe

Linda Patricia Ashe (nee Shimmin), age 80, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022.  She was born to Frederick and Alberta Shimmin on July 12, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. and was a lifelong resident of Audubon Park.

Linda worked as a school bus driver for Pat and Gordon’s in Lawnside.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is Survived by her 3 daughters, Diane Rodig (nee Hughes), Nancy Thompson (nee Hughes), and Linda Gilfillan (nee Hughes); 6 grandchildren, Brian Hook, Caitlin Thompson, Emily Thompson, Casey Gilfillan, Sunshine Gilfillan, and Ashlynn Dobleman; and her siblings, Jane Holcombe, Frederick Shimmin, and Monica Orr.
