John L. Heubel

John L. Heubel passed away surrounded by family December 4, 2022 at the age of 86 in Cherry Hill NJ.

John was a loving and dedicated husband, father, business man, and Air Force National Guard Veteran.  His greatest joy was serving the Lord; as a Deacon of Bethel Baptist Church, missions work in South America, and helping at his church with any repair he encountered. His faith in God was always the center of his life.  He was the owner of Heubel’s Upholstery and Interior Design in Palmyra, NJ, where he was born and raised.  His commitment to providing for his family and his level of strength was legendary.  Everyone he met understood before they walked away, how much he loved his wife Martha and how long she had been his bride.  He was loved deeply by his wife and family and was respected by all who met him.

John is survived by his wife, Martha Heubel (nee Kille); his four daughters, Debra Shoemaker of Mount Laurel, NJ, Tanya Lynne of York, PA, Rhonda and Mark Betterly of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Rina Craig of Moorestown, NJ; 8 grand children, Kamie, Jason, Robert, Jessica, Mason, Earl, Jonathan, and Patrick; 5 great grand children; and his brother, Dean Heubel of Plantation, FL.

Graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday January 7, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 RT-130N, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to Air Force Aid Society afas.org.  Funeral arrangements under the direction of DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  Condolences and memories may be shared at DuboisFuneralHome.
