Thomas A. Whalen III

Thomas A. Whalen III, affectionately known as “Tommy”, age 57, of Haddonfield, NJ, suddenly passed away on June 12, 2022.  Tommy was predeceased by his loving parents, Tom and Alice Whalen.  He was the brother of Kelly Ann Whalen and Brigid Visco; the devoted father of Shannon Whalen (Daniel McNeill) and Thomas Whalen IV.; the adored Pop-Pop of Nash McNeill; the fun Uncle to Meghan(Chris), Morgan, Matt, Nicky; and Great-Uncle to Savannah. He was also survived by the mothers of his children, Tara and Anna.

Tommy was a long time member of the Local 98 Brotherhood.  He was a die-hard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  Tommy’s most proud achievement in life was being a Pop-Pop to Nash.  Tommy was a friend to all and impacted the lives of many.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  The prayer service will follow at 11:00AM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, NJ.  Condolences and memories may be shared at DuboisFuneralHome.
