Ronald H. Newell

On February 19, 2022, Ronald H., age 72 years, of Haddon Heights, NJ passed away.  Ron was the beloved husband of Michele (Mickie) (nee Zachary); loving father of Chris Newell and Tricia Bygott (Brian), of Haddon Heights, NJ; proud and devoted grandfather of James, Riley, and Hannah; loving brother of Don (Barbara) and Jeff (Nancy); and beloved son of Grace (nee Dixon) and the late, Howard E. Newell Jr.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was a Haddon Heights High School baseball alum and loyal fan. His favorite pastimes were fishing, boating, and watching and videotaping his grandkids’ activities.  He worked 30+ years for Verizon.  He came out of retirement to work as the zoning officer for Haddon Heights.  Ronald was a member of Grace Bible Church, 887 Clements Bridge Road, Barrington, NJ 08007.  He also served in the Army National Guard.

Visitation will be held at Grace Bible Church on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 10-11:00 am, which will be followed by a Memorial Service at the church.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Bible Church or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, www.nationalmssociety.org.  Funeral arrangements under the direction of DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  Condolences and memories may be shared at DuboisFuneralHome.
