Daniel E. Scovern

Daniel E. of Woodlynne, NJ, passed away on September 25, 2021 at the age of 83. Daniel was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Kelly); devoted father of Daniel Scovern (Joanne), Rosanne Knight (Ronald), and Shaun Dixon; step father of Stacey Vanella, Domenic Parenti, Aaron Dixon, Chalena Dixon, William Dixon, and the late Holly Dixon; loving brother of David (Susan); cherished grandfather of Tiffany and Daniel; and great grandfather of Cameron.  Daniel is also survived by his constant companion dog, Fiona.

Daniel served in the USAF during the Korean War.  He was a master machinist for the Joseph Oat Corp., Camden, NJ for over 10 years.  Daniel was a Woodlynne resident since 1967 and served on the Woodlynne ambulance squad and the fire department.  Daniel loved bowling, fishing, and crossword puzzles.  He had a tremendous work ethic and was always helping neighbors and friends in need.  He will be sadly missed. 

The visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM at the Funeral home.
