Dolores A. Scherer

After a long illness, surrounded by her family, God took Dolores A. (Nee Rey), aged 74 years formerly of Mount Ephraim NJ., into His everlasting arms on Tuesday October 6, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late William B.; devoted mother of Michelle Scherer, Dolores Veigel (Keven Mulvey), Jacqueline Scherer (Todd Lilley), and Janet Scherer; loving grandmother of Julia Lilley, Jacob W. Franco, Zachary W. Veigel, Emma A. Lilley, and Jolene E. Rowatti; cherished sister of the late Gerard Rey, Antonio Rey, and Valentina Mary Rey; and adoring niece of Tina M. Hultz-Marcy.

Dolores loved the Holidays and gatherings of all the family members. She prepared Turkey, mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, and baked pies. She was an all around great cook. Dolores was a “2 streeter” from Philadelphia.

Graveside funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family (immediate family only are invited). Contributions may be made in the memory of Dolores A.
