John Bernsee

John “Jack” Bernsee of Collingswood, N.J., formerly of Haddonfield, N.J., passed away on April 8, 2020 at the age of 88.  He was preceded in death by parents Charles and Anna Bernsee and brothers Charles Jr. and Richard Bernsee. He is survived by his five children and ten grandchildren.

An avid reader and lifelong learner, Jack will be greatly missed for his wry sense of humor. He received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from the University of Wyoming, and a second Master of Science from Temple University.  He was awarded an Atomic Energy Commission Radiological Physics Fellowship through the Brookhaven National Laboratories, and was an early contributor to the Yankee Rowe Nuclear Power Station. He was employed as a Health Physicist and Industrial Hygienist for many years.

Grave side services will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, N.J. on April 15, 2020.  In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.  Funeral arrangements by the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 S.
