Rev. Dr. David W. Arnold

On March 3, 2020 Dr. David W. Arnold, age 62 years, beloved husband of his wife Rebecca, (nee Speirs), of Oaklyn, NJ, joined his father in heaven. He was the devoted father of David R. Arnold, Dana Shriver, Scott Arnold, Daniel Arnold, and Paige Arnold. He was the loving brother of John Arnold, Timothy Arnold, and Judy Heinrich. He was the cherished grandfather of Caleb, Dave, and Grayson.

David earned the following degrees in his passion driven education: Bachelor of Arts, World Religion, and Communication at Nyack College; Masters of Divinity, Communication, Theology and Counseling at Alliance Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate from Eastern University. He was a church planter with the Christian Missionary Alliance Ministry. He started many churches such as Clark Alliance Church, Germantown Alliance Church, Frederick Alliance Church, and Emmanuel Alliance Church. Rev. Dr. Dave was a revered church planter, pastor and therapist, and he saved as many lives as he did souls.

He is survived by not only his family, but also the thousands that he reached with his ministry and compassion. His hope was in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and he had an incredible joy in his heart for the day that he would be united with his Heavenly Father. His children are assured that he is there waiting for them, overjoyed to welcome them home in heaven, and to make them smile and laugh again.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 7, 2020 from 4-5:00 PM at the Oaklyn Baptist Church, 29 E. Bettlewood Ave. , Oaklyn, NJ 08106. The funeral service will follow at the church at 5:00 PM. The Interment will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Funeral arrangements by the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 S.
