Frank R. Wilson Jr.

Frank R. Wilson Jr, age 78 years, formerly of Kirkwood, NJ, and currently of Wyoming, DE, passed away on January 8, 2019.  Devoted husband of 53 years to the late Ruth K. (nee Davis) Wilson.   Loving father of Benjamin F. (Sharon) Wilson and Bernise R. Wilson.  Dear brother of Bertha Chambers, Frances (Robert) Kix, and Jennie (Elwood) Wentzell. Devoted grandfather of Shaun M., Ashley R., Adam Justin, Ezekiel P. “Zeke”, Jadeyn P., also survived by his great grandson Milo, and several nieces and nephews.

Frank proudly served in the US Army and National Guard.  He was a devoted husband and adored his wife Ruth.  He owned and operated Wilson’s Modern Paperhanging (formerly in Lindenwold & Kirkwood). He was a meticulously hard worker all his life and took great pride in his work.  He and Ruth were avid gardeners. He was extremely active, always having several projects going on at the same time, and he loved being outside. He had a serving heart, doing for others and putting the needs of others before himself.  Frank served in different capacities over the years at church.  He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and prayed for his family on a daily basis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday, January 11, 2019 from 10:00am  – 11:00am at the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.  Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am at the Funeral Home.  Interment in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
