David M. Blackwell

David Michael Blackwell, age 76 of Audubon, passed away on October 21, 2015.  Loving husband of Carol Shover Blackwell (nee Widell).  Beloved father of Vickie (Scott) Crews, Trish (Art) Hughes, and Jim (Linda) Blackwell. Dear brother of Patricia Monroe.  Also survived by his step-children Carol Ann (Mark) Henry, Larry (Maribeth) Shover, Andy (Kathleen) Shover, 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Michael worked as a realtor in the South Jersey Area for over 40 years. He was a member of National Association of Real Estate Brokers.  Michael served in the US Air Force.  He loved to sing, singing professionally at weddings and in various church choirs. One of his favorite verses was “I am the Light of the World, he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12.  A special thanks from the family to Dr. Donald Orth for his compassionate dedication to Michael as a patient for 38 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, 11am -12noon at Hope United Methodist Church, 700 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043. Memorial service to follow at 12noon. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in his name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr # 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.  Arrangements under the care of DuBois Funeral Home, 700 S.
